Alvin H. Andrew is a retired Engineer. He earned a BS from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 1976, and an MS from BYU in 1980. As an undergraduate Assistant for Dr. Robert Patch of the BYU College of Religion, he worked on the LDS scripture cross-referencing project, and assisted in the development of the original “Harmony of the Gospels”. Upon his return to BYU as a graduate engineering student in 1978, he was invited to be an Instructor in the Ancient Scripture Department, under the direction of Dr. Robert J. Matthews. After Graduate School, he continued to volunteer as an Institute Instructor in association with Institutes of Religion at the University of New Mexico, Michigan State University, and briefly at Boise State University.
Dr. Shane Andrew is an orthopedic spine surgeon practicing in Nampa, Idaho. He earned a BS in Microbiology from Idaho State University in 1997, and a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001, from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Andrew completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Detroit in 2006, and an Orthopedic Spinal Surgical Fellowship at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in 2007. Dr Andrew is also an adjunct professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine in Meridian, Idaho.
