The Joseph Smith Translation

Red-Letter Edition, The New Testament

This rendering of the New Testament is a red-letter edition of the Joseph Smith Translation (JST) of the King James Version (KJV) of the Holy Bible with the changes made by Joseph appearing inline and in red print. The original KJV text which was altered by the JST remains, but in blue print with a strike-through. JST additions, alterations, and most punctuation where appropriate, are all shown in red print. Unaltered KJV text retains its black print.

To purchase any variation of the book, select the appropriate option below. You will be redirected to a secure purchasing site at IngramSpark, where you can make your purchase. Other than pricing, the only difference among the book variations are the options of a hardbound book with or without a cover jacket, a paperback edition, or an eBook version. All four options have the same textual content.

This publication is not associated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), nor is it meant to replace the authorized LDS KJV of the New Testament. It is supplemental study and research material for interested individuals, students, teachers, and researchers of the JST. No known version of the JST has been transcribed previously as a red-letter edition. The JST version of the Old Testament is currently being prepared for future release on this website.
